Mini Bags Making a Big Impact
The design might be micro, but the impact is major.
It’s the style that has grown in popularity but shrunk in size. The teeny-tiny bag trend has curtailed from Pooh Bear to Piglet. Soon, you won’t even be able to fit your fave lippy. The question is, what’s so fascinating about carrying around a bag that is virtually pointless?
A lady needs her essentials; her keys, purse, phone, lippy, and the occasional emergency kit… Yet these bags aren’t designed for practicality, but instead for impact. The luxurious trend screams, “I have an assistant to carry that”, and it’s understandable when we look who’s sporting the trend; Rhianna, Beyoncé, Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid and Aimee Song. Some hardly fit a mobile phone, and I can’t tell you one person who is going to leave that behind, famous or not.
Although the trend isn’t hot off the press, since Paris Fashion Week in February, it’s clear tiny is still big. We saw the trend jumpstart when Jacquemus designed bags for the Fall 2019 runway so microscopic they barely fit a single pair of AirPods. If you’re game enough to try the trend that leaves behind all the essentials, or if you just want to feel care free, then take a sneak peak of some bags I think you’ll like. Have fun!
